PERSONAL.

The services at All Saints' Church yesterday were conducted by the Eev Maclavery, curate of St. Peter'», Wellington. There was a gathering together of the employees of the Sash and Door Company in the company's office on Saturday afternoon to mane a valedictory presentation to Mr A. Martin, who has severed his connection with the company to take up farming at Fitzhcrbert. The presentation comprised a set of carvers and a silver toilet box. Mr O, Moeller, manager, made a few fitting remarks and handed the gifts, to Mr Martin, and the latter suitably responded.
