Oroua Downs Sale.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Limited, desire to again draw the attention of the settlers in the vicinity of the Oroua Downs, to the sale to be held by them at the old dipyards, opposite tho homestead at the Oroua Downsj on Tuesday, 29th inst. Every facility will be given to those coming from a distance, and as the train service fits in very conveniently, there should be a large number of outside buyers present. Arrangements have been made for a coach to meet those arriving at Hirnitangi from Palmerston by the midday train and to convey them back to the train after the sale in ample time to oatob. tho afternoon, train back to Palmerston which connects with the Wanganui, Wairarapa, and Manawatu trains. Should the Company receive sufficient support from the settlers it is their intention to hold periodical sales at the Oroua Downs, a boon which will no doubt be appreciated by that thriving and important district.
