Taranaki Beats Wellington.
A Mediocre Game.
(Per Press Association) Wellington, Last Night. The annual Eugby football match between Taranaki and Wellington representatives was played to-day, tho visitors winning by five points to three. The game was uninteresting and the play mediocre at all stages. The home team played without combination o>energy and there is no doubt that the worst team lost, principally by reason of the witless tactics pursued by its backs.
