Barnes, (Auckland) 25yds, 2; A Durie 50yds, 3. The race was run in the magnificent time of lmin 57 2-sth sees, a record. The track was discovered to be one foot over the quaiter of a mile. Milk Walk—Kerr 1, McColl 2, Johansen 3. 440 yards Hurdles Championship— Watts 1, Campbell 2, Wyeth 3. Time 62 l-ssec. 220 yards Flat Handicap—Patterson, 9yds, 1 ; Watts, 12yds, 2 ; Morgan, 20yds, 3. Mile Flat Championship—D. Smith 1, A. Campbell 2, S. Barnes 3. Keel — McKochnie 1, Fcrbes 2, Smith 3. Pibrochs—Campbell 1, McKenzie 2, Morrison 3. Dannevirke won the banner with 138 points, Wellington 87 points being second. Carslon won Lord Eanfurly's Jgold medal for the champion athlete on the ground. The one and a half mile cycle event was won by Brunette, of Palmerston, -Nattrasß being second and Clarkson third.
