Received July S, 1.9 o.^, Londok^ July 2 Mr Seddon has instrucUd the New Zealand Contingeut to remain until th 6 end of August. Sir Edmund Barton said he hoped to retain, the colonial troops if there was » prospect of the Coronation eventuating sufficiently early to enable arrangement* to be made.
It is announced that the Coronation will bo much quieter than was originally intended, but its religious character will be more strongly emphasised. There will bo fewer foreign represenlatives, except the nearer connections of royalty. The Prinoe and Princess of Walts have greatly relieved the sovereign tf. social functions. : .
