BAZAAR.

A bazaar and sale of work in aid of tho building fund of St. Peter's Church was opened this afternoon in the Lyceum Theatre. The lady supporters of the church have for some time past formed themselves into a body of workers, with Mrs H. S. Porteous, as secrotnry, and have shown great enthusiasm and energy in preparing and collecting matr-rial for tbo bazaar now boicg held. The result is that the various stalls arranged down tl-so floor of the hall are replete with useful and attractive articles, which the ladies in charge should have no difficulty whatever iv disposing of. The plain work stall, which is under the charge of Meedames Porteous and Yortt, has an excellent collection of useful clothing articles, and will no doubt be largely patronised by lady visitors. The fancy work stall is very nicely laid out. and is under tho supervision of Mosdames H. Griggs, Sollitt and Fairbxad. other stalls equally attractively arranged aro : Doll stall (under tho charge of Mrs Hnlbevry and Miss Humphries), produce stn.ll (under the charge of Mrs T. R, Moore and Mrs H. Palmer), cigaiotte and tobacco stall (under the charge of Mieses Kuhtze ami Hnm* pbvits), lollie stall (Misses Yortt, 2), r-nd binn tub (Afr Peat). In addition to thn various articles grouped under the above headings there is also a quantity of livo stock for disposal, and several goods of a moro expensive description, such as wheelbarrows, carvings, screens, etc. The tea and refreshment stall is presided over by Mcrdamea Thompson, Banks, and Miss Person, ami every -attention wili be givi n to patrons. j
