TIMBER TRUCKS.
We recently commented on the fact that at the present, time the supply of timbefc trucks available. was quite inadequate to the demand for them, and that; thereby .the saw-millers were being putto considerable inconvenience and loss. We are glad to learn from unimpeachable authority, that this state of things will not continue much longer.- A contract has been mtered into by a large New Zealand firm for the supply of the rolling Ktockfor Patea-Manawatu and this will iv rlu'de a quantity of timber trucks. This information will be received with pleasure by the sawmillers along the line, who^ have of late been conducting their business under great disadvantage.
