The Earere line was. allotted to me ; I spent two days m canvassing the district. As the result; '•.■of my labor, I received a total of £f 2s which I handed to the Mayor, together with the list, within, the time appointed (the Saturday following the meeting), less such sums as I have not received m hard cash. . . The items of the list, taken from memory, are as follows ' :— P. Maxwell, ids ; H. Fitssimmons, 5s ; H. Waldegrave, 10s ; Q-eorge McE wen, £1 ;" Mrs Eandolph, sa ; T. Keeble, 2s 6d ; — Lane, ss ; V.
