BRITISH SOLDIERS SHOT

(Rec. 1.25 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. A former German soldier, who is_ reported to be semi-crazed, last night shot two British soldiers through the head, says the Associated Press correspondent at Herford. One died on the way to hospital and the other is reported to be in a critical condition. The shooting occurred near Bunde. One of the victims, before collapsing in a coma, told how a tall, thin, uniformed German approached them and wanted to sell a watch. They refused. The soldier drew a revolver and fired at their heads at close range. The British military police are conducting an intensive search for the German.
