ARABS SETTEE QUARRELS
PALESTINE AGREEMENT. ?; (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22/ For the first time since 1939, political differences between the six Arab parties’ in Palestine have been settled with the formation of an Arab Higher Committee, consisting of 12 members, reports the Associated Press correspondent in Jerusalem. The committee is expected to present the case of the Palestinian Arabs to the forthcoming meeting of the Arab League in Cairo. General Smuts, in a speech at Pretoria, said it was the earnest wish of the South African Government and the people that the British-American Commission see its way clear to devise the largest possible measure of Jewish immigration to Palestine.
