FURTHER BURGLARIES

TWO PREMISES ENTERED

Two further burglaries took place in Palmerston North at the week-end, when the shoe store of Messrs A. V. Oliver, Ltd., in the Square, and Agnew Refrigeration, Ltd., King Street, were entered.

At. the first-mentioned premises, entry was apparently gained through forcing the front door. As far as is known, nothing was taken. Tools worth over £6O were taken from the Agnew Refrigeration Company, a motor tyre and a set of stocks and dies, the whole being valued at nearly £BO. Corrugated iron on a rear door was prised off and this allowed the intruder to open the door.
