Associated choirs of the district are meeting for the first rehearsal of Handel’s great oratorio “The Messiah’’ on Monday next. October . 1, in the Congregational Hair, Broadway. The last performance of this oratorio was given at the end of the New Zealand Centennial Year. If is hoped to give the concert early in December.
