SUNSHINE CLUB

The Sunshine Club, at its monthly meeting, decided to ’ send donations to the Minesweepers’ Committee and the .S t. John Ambulance Association. Mrs Mailer, who presided in the absence of Mrs W. H. Boon, delivered messages of goodwill from old members of the club, whom she had met while on holiday. The members will service-the A.N.A. Club on September 28 29 and 30. In the future the club will meet only once a month. A programme arranged by tho hostess, Mrs Cole, was enjoyed ; it included clever song sketches by Mesdames Morris, Frith and Lacey, of Whakarongo, also games and community sin Erin" A competition “Nursery Rhymes' was won by Mrs Frith. .Tea was served by Mrs Gordon and the performers were thanked by Mrs Shaw.
