HERD RECORDING OVERSEAS
An effort is to be made to restore the practice of herd-recording in Now South Wales this spring. In the past as many as 100,000 cows were under tost, but the shortage of manpower during the war has caused the practice to decline. It is noteworthy that Now Zealand overcame that shortage by the almost exclusive use of women herd-testers, who underwent a short course of training at Massey College.
