FAMOUS PRISONERS
LONDON, May 7
8 M. Leon Blum, the former Socialist Prime Minister of France, Piistor Nielr.oller, the German Protestant minister whose anti-Nazi sermons resulted in his arrest, and Dr. Kurt Schusehnigg, former Chancellor of Austria, who was erroneously reported to have been hanged, were among the prisoners freed by the Fifth Army from the Widlsee prison camp, near Obbiac, says Reut-er's correspondent at Allied Headquarters in Italy. Other well-known prisoners found in the camp included Nikolas Horthy, youngest son of the former Hungarian Regent, Baron Schc-'ll, former Hungarian Minister of the Interior, General Papagos, former commander of the Greek land forces, Mine. Vera Sehuschnigg, wife of the former Chancellor' of Austria, and Prince Philip of Hesse, husband of Princess Mafalda. whom he denounced to the Gestapo for her anti-Nazi sympathies, causing her death in Buchenwald.
