Mrs C. Smith, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs F. G. Major, of Argyle Avenue, during tho Manawatu Competitions Society’s festival. Miss M. Mowbray, of Auckland, who has been the guest of Mr and Mrs A. L. Turner, of Fitzherbert Avenue, has left for Hunterville on lier return home. Mrs H. Hutchison, of Hastings, is spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs C. 0. Pratt, of Victoria Avenue, whose daughter, Miss K. Pratt, of the Mary Truby King Hospital, Wellington, is also staying with her.
