KURILE BOMBARDMENT
(11.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 22. The Domei News Agency reports that eight American warships shelled Paramushiro, in the Kurile Islands, last Monday but caused no damage. “Our air units are attacking the fleeing war vessels,” the agency said. “The enemy is repeating his air raids on Paramushiro, but our - garrison is standing fast.”
