(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, beb. _2. The Home Secretary (Mr Herbert Morrison) said in the House of Commons that the steamer Vega had made trips to the Channel Is'ands in December and this month with food and medical supplies. Red Cross delegates had conferred with the German military authorities and the local British civil authorities in the Channel Islands and everything possible was being done to mitigate the hardships of the population as a result of the German occupation.—Official Wireless. .
