SANSON INSTITUTE

The February meeting of the Sanson Women’s Institute was presided over by Mrs Adams. Correspondence was read from Mrs Tostovin, and Miss Lawrence, and from local boys overseas, thanking the members for parcels received. Competition winners were: Bloom. Mrs Coulter 1, Mrs Richardson 2, Mrs Gulbransen 3: floral V, Mrs York 1, Mrs Young 2; slice of Christmas cake, Mrs Richardson 1, Mesdames Beattie and Gulbransen, equal, 2; bag of flour, Mrs D. Sanson, Next month's will bo the annual meeting and the competition will be for four piaiti scones.
