CITY SILVER BAND

On December 16 Mrs Bolgrave gave an evening for the junior members of the City Band, including a tea and games. A solo competition for the junior members was conducted by Mr Belgravo with the assistance of the committee. Three members of the senior band acted as judges. Junior Bandrman McFlindcn was awarded the prize. Nine members competed and in the result only* a point separated each player. The prize was.a free picture pass donated by Mr O'Hara and Bandsman R. Bolgrave and Dalby rendered two solos assisted at the piano by Miss D. Belgrave.
