THREAT OF RETALIATION
(12.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 30. Some quarters in Washington believe that the United States could compel the Japanese authorities to give decent protection to American airmen forced down in Japan by threatening a general chemical offensive in retaliation for further murders of aviators, says the United Press. (The Tokio radio yesterday announced that Americans parachuting would be killed by the people.) '
