Tho Dominion Auctioneering Coy., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving a small entry of pigs and a capacity entry of poultry at their weekly sale. Heavy stores sold to 345, light, to 255, and slips to 16s. Poultry were somewhat easier in price, due to the large number penned, hens averaging from 3s to 4s, and good pullets from 12s to 13s. Large supplies of vegetables came forward. Quotations: Pigs: Heavy stores, 29s to 345; light", 36s to 255; slips, 10s to 16s; sow to farrow, £6.
