In the first round o£ match play in the Veterans' Golf Cup tourney at Rotorua J. T. Rogoiison (formerly of Palmerston North) beat Ewcn (Titirangi), but went under to G. H. Scott (Wellington), 3 and 2, in the quarter-finals. In tho Arikikapakapa Cup, first round, tho former Palincrston North player A. Downer boat M. Hunter, and A. Anderson (Palmerrilon North) beat R. Gardner. In the quarter-finals Domer. beat 11. P. Richmond, 2 and 1, and Anderson lost to 11. L. Blamires, 3 and 2.
