VICTORY OR ELSE

NO HALFWAY HOUSE

Let there bo no mistake in the minds of all New Zealanders; there is no halfway house between victory and defeat in this war. To make victory doubly certain money is needed, an endless flow of money, for although wars may not be won with money, war’s activities cannot be conducted without money. If freedom is worth fighting for, surely it is worth paying for. The 2nd Liberty Loan offers every New Zealander an opportunity of showing to what extent ho or she is prepared to make sacrifices in order that our fighting men shall receive the tools needed for Victory. With the minimum subscription as little ns £lO, the great majority of the Dominion’s wage and salary earners should be in a position to subscribe; but the smaller amounts, £lO, £SO, or £IOO are needed just as vitally. An investment in the Liberty Loan is the safest investment you could ever make. Both principal and interest are backed by the entire financial resources of New Zealand. There are two kinds of stock: Short term at 21 per cent, and long term at 3 per cent. Payment may be made in full or in instalments. Prompt action is necessary, as the Loan closes this Saturday (14th November). Get application form at once from any Bank, Postal Money Order Office or Sharebroker.
