PARLIAMENT
ASSEMBLING NEXT WEEK
(Special) WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. The Parliamentary session will be resumed next Wednesday afternoon and that morning there will be a caucus of the Labour Party when the changed situation, duo to the Nationalist withdrawal from the War Administration, will be discussed.
It is expected that, before Parliament meets, the War Cabinet will be fully functioning, though the Prime Minister has not yet given an indication whether he will revert to the position of three months ago or take some steps to reinforce Cabinet. Nothing important in legislation has been announced, though Parliament will need to extend the Fair Rents Act' expiring at the end of October. However, debates in the House should be vividly interesting from the party viewpoint, while the war situation will be reviewed by the Prime Minister for members’ .information.
