LATE MR D. G. FRASER

Tho funeral of the late Mr Donald G. Fraser, of Sandon Road, Feilding, took place on Tjiesday and was attended by a large and representative gathering of friends and sympathisers. Rev. 13. Carlisle, of the Baptist Church, conducted services at the residence and at the graveside. Piper 1). McGregor plavcd the lament “Locliaber No More” at both services. A large number ol floral tributes were received including those from the following: Oroua Rabbit Board, Staff of tho Feilding Rost Office, Baptist Church. Feilding Ripe Band, St. John Ambulance Nursing Division, Duptist Church Suncl«o School, St. John Ambulance Association Makino Women’s Institute, Makino Garden Guild. r J he pall-bearers at tho residence were Messrs P. Simpson. R. Gavigan, A. Pettigrew. D. Wright, D. Fraser and B. Robinson, and at tbe graveside Superintendent Ashcroft and Corporals Low and Tutty (St. John Ambulance), Pipers F, H. Pike A Aitkcn and F. A. 'Dnlzcll (Feilding Pipe Band). The St. John Ambulance Division was represented by a large gathering of uniformed mcmlicrs, “The late Mr Fraser was the first rabbit inspector appointed oil the formation of the Oroua Rabbit Board and was an outstanding official. He is survived by Mrs Fraser “and a family of three, Mr D. Fraser (Feilding) and Mesdamcs B. Robinson (Aorangi), and ]>. Wright (South Island).
