GENERAL NEWS.
Whittaker’s team secured third place in the annual relay race from Marion to Fcilding, the event being won by Taylor’s (Marlon) team. The second of a series of bridge parties in aid of the funds of the Feilding St. John Ambulance Association was held recently. Mr R. R. F. Jones thanked all who had made donations and given other assistance. The prize-winners were Mrs S. W. Brown, Mr C. M. Sargisson, and Mrs Guthrie.
