COMPLEMENTARY SOCIAL. In the Parish Hall, Feilding, last evening, members and supporters of the National Party in the Manawatu electorate attended in good numbers for a complimentary social to their candidate, Pilot-Officer E. W. Barnett and Mrs Barnett, of Tokorangi. Mr A. Campbell, chairman of the Feilding branch of the party, presided and extended a welcome to the guests of honour, stating that it was pleasing for members and friends to have the opportunity of meeting them. Mr Barnett, in returning thanks for the 1 unction arranged in his and Mrs Barnett’s honour, said that it gave him much pleasure as candidate to meet members and those who were associated with the National Party. Following a musical programme, supper was served and dancing added to the enjoyment.
