Miss E. Watts, who is leaving to reside in Palmerston North, was entertained at a party convened by Alisa SLatforcl and friends and held at the homo of Mr and Mrs A. Watts, Ngareta Street. Miss Stafford made a presentation to Miss Watts on behalf of those present in appreciation of her many services to the community. A medal round played by members of the Marton Ladies’ Golf Club resulted: Silver, Mrs Grut, 91—11—80; bronze, Miss Witton, 108—34 —74; Miss Smith, 112 36 76; Mbs Gower, 110—34 —76.
