MELODY DANCE CLUB.
The dances held twice a week by the ATelodv Dance Club conducted solely by Aliss "\V. It- Hubbard have all proved verv successful. ' Two very attractive items were rendered by Betty and Shirley Henderson. For her tap number Betty Henderson, who is quite a little girl, was attired in khaki uniform and peak cap to match, while Shirley Henderson wore silver and scarlet uniform with silver top hat. , Both numbers wove thoroughly appreciated and encored. ’Hie music for these items was kindly played by Mr Alan Russ. Owing to the Empire Hall being engaged for the Repertory Society produc tion, the Melody dance on Saturday evening was held in the Band Hall, when a very large number were present. Busy workers prepared tho floor to perfection and with tho rendering by a professional orchestra and excellent numbers, all tbc patrons spent a very happy evening. Several novelty dances added io the enjoyment. Air Howard A ork officiated as Al.O. with every attention An announcement was made for the next Melody midweek dance, to be held on Wednesdays in future instead of Tuesdays.
