BREAD CONTRACT
(Prc=s Assn.) AUCKLAND, July 14, A heated discussion on the question of tenders for the supply of bread to the ~nd Hospital marked the meeting of the board to-night. The 'chairman (Mr Allan Moody) said he objected to the action of three leading city iirms in offering a combined tender and proposing to each take four months of the year's contract, Ho said he had approached another suburban firm and moved that they .be offered tho contract. The motion of the chairiman offering the contract to a subur'ban firm wiis carried by six votes to i five.
