(he business at the Magistrate's Court, Feilding, this morning, was confined to civil claims for debt and a claim for maintenance and guardianship, there being no police cases. Mr It. M. Watson, h.M., was on the Bench.

The physical culture classes inaugurated by Constable E. 11. Pike arc proving successful and a good number of youths are making usu of the instruction given gratuitously for their benefit. The Classes arc particularly useful at the present time when the need for fit men and women is of paramount importance. A special class for women is also held and this is also meeting with good response.
