MORE MEN FOR AIR FORCE
(Press Assn.) WELLINGTON. June 19 The Minister of Defence (Air Jones) in a statement 'to-day, announced that the R.N.Z.A.F’. is prepared to accept for enlistment- as pilots, observers or gunners men who have minor afflictions of the feet—flat feet or similar complaints. This refers only to those men who arc within the air crew ago and have the requisite educational qualifications. Many of those who offered their services to the Army and have been rejected for various types of foot trouble consider they are unsuitable for any branch of the Services, hut if these men arc otherwise physically fit they will be considered for selection for air crew training. Men under 31 years are eligible as pilots, while observers and air gunners must be under 33. i
