AWARD TO AIRMAN.

(Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, June 19 Advice has been received by Air Headquarters. Wellington, that Sergeant Frank Skipworth Kirke has lieen awarded the D.F.M. Sergeant Kirke was horn in Wellington in 1917 and educated at Marlborough College, Blenheim. His next-of-kin i.s his mother. Mrs A. B. Kirke, Owen Street. Wellington. Tile official citation says: Sergeant Kirke has completed many operations against the enemy as an air observer and his nnvignton has been of the very highest order. He has always shown the greatest keenness in his work and he has displayed outstanding ability, determination and devotion to duty throughout.
