♦RESCUED MANS REVELATION BERTH, May 2i. Bruce Logan, aged 16, who was taken prisoner when the French ship Comtnissaire Ramel was sunk by a German raider in the Indian Ocean last September, said in Perth to-day that a Nazi had posed as a steward in the Commissaire Ramel. "He revealed that he was a German when we were taken aboard the raider," Logan said. "He gave the Nazi salute and changed into a German uniform. He said it was an honour to risk death lor Hitler." _ Logan, who was on his way to England to join the Navy, was rescued "when Italian Somaliland was captured bv British forces. lie said that the raider used telescopic masts and funnels and changed its nationality almost daily. "It would stop the engines and drift for a week." he added. Near Batavia six weeks later, he said, the raider received a signal that a Yugoslav ship was coming in for coal The Yugoslav ship was captured.
