RUGBY, May 30. j The following Note has been pre- ! sented by the Yugoslav Minister in j London: — I •‘During the solemnities which took i place in Rome on May IS and 19 it; was proclaimed that the ‘independent I Croatian State’ is transformed into a, hereditary monarchy. At this occasion, , also, agreements were signed ceding I to Italy large parts of the territory j belonging to Yugoslavia. Other agree-' | ments have been reached which repre-j sent a camouflaged annexation to Italy) of the, whole of the territory newly created as the ‘Croatian’ State. , “All these decisions have been made ! ] by the same persons, who assumed! ! power as usurpers with the assistance . of the enemy’s troops occupying I ( Croatia, without any consultation and | participation of the people whose vital ’ j rights and interests are, bv these do- ! | cisions, heavily affected.
