The Coventry Flock is one of the oldest Southdown flocks in existence in New Zealand and has been under the personal supervision of the owner since its foundation. This flock is a first-class flock of true to type Southdown sheep and it is only through continued ill-health the owner has decided to disperse the flock. On account of ESTATE OF LATE A. .T. Wairakaia Southdown Flock No. 296 S.S.S., N.Z.F.B. —This flock was founded in 1919 and the best of blood lines have been introduced from leading studs from time to time by th(> purchase of ewes and high class stud rams. Tauroa Rycland Stud. Flock No. 14. R.S.S., N.Z.F.B. —This flock was founded in 1907 by the importation of ten owes and iwo rams from England.
