The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report a slight improvement in the —alue of pigs at their usual sale hold on Thursday: Light porkers sold to 345, stores ic 25s and wenners to 13s. I.ate poultry rates were well maintained, there still being a good demand for table bird*, and also pullets. A decided improvement in the price of caul if lowers took place during the wrote, values being up to 17s 6d pei sack, while a corresponding increase in other lines was also noticeable. We quote: Pigs, best weaners, 9s 6d to 13s: small, 6s to 3s; slips. 12s to 16s: heavy stores. 20s to 253: light stores 14s to 19s; light porkers, 30s to 345: breeding sows, 27s Gd. 45s to 465. Poultry: Heavy lions, 4s to 4s 6d each ; best W.L. liens, 3s to 3s 6d ; light hens. 2s 3d to 2s 9d ; ducks, 3.s 6d to 6s : heavy cockerel*, 4s 6d to 6* 6d ; medium, 3s to 3s Gd; light, 2s to 2s 6d: roosters, 2s 6d to 3s 6d; geese, to 4s 9d; pullets, medium, 6s to 7s 6d ; backward. 3s to 5s 3d.
