LORD BEAVERBROOK.

(British Official "Wireless.) (lice 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 13. The Prime Minister (Mr Churchill) slated in the House of Commons that Lord Beaverbrook "ill discharge special Cabinet duties assigned to a member of the Defence Committee of the War Cabinet. Lord Beaverbrook will also act as referee on priority questions. A clause is to be inserted in the Finance Bill, according to a statement bv Sir Kingsley Wood, providing that in the ease of’ a civilian whose death is due to injuries caused by an operation of the war relief from death duties will he allowed similar to that given in the armed forces, and would he restrospective to the beginning of the war.
