Mr K. AV. Eglinton presided at the meeting of the Manawatu Rugby Union last evening. The secretary of the Bush Rugby Union (Mr S, G. llogg) wrote asking if it would bo possible to arrange a match with Manawatu at Pahiatua and also a third-grade representative game.— Held over until the representative fixtures are considered. The secretary of the Ilawko’s Bay Rugby Union (Mr AV. T. Anderson) wrote advising that llawke's Bay would bo pleased lo receive a visit from a Manawatu representative team.— Held over. The headmaster of Mount Albert Grammar School wrote advising that, although they were anxious to arrange a game against Palmerston North High School at Auckland, they would l>c glad to accept an invitation lo play in the quadrangular tournament at Palmerston North.—lt was decided to refer the letter to Mr A. In reply to a request from the Manawatu Rugbv Union, the management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union last night agreed to send a representative team to play Manawatu at 1 aiincrston North on the King’s Birthday on the same condition' as proposed last year, provided the King’s Birthday is observed as a holiday.
