Adam and Fallen Man” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Romans 5: 17; “If bv one man’s offence death reigned by one: much more which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon wore the following from the Bible: “And the Lord God commanded the man saving Of every tree of the garden thou’ mavcst freely cat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou catest thereof thou shalt surelv die.” (Gen 216, 17.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Headth with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: ‘ln the first chapter of Genesis evil has no local habitation or name.
