Nurses From Hospital Ship. Matron E. Towncnd and the 13 sisters from the hospital ship Someisetshire. which is in poll at Wellington, have been making a tour of the North Island. Matron Towncnd, who is a Yorkshire woman, has been in the regular Army Nursing Service, for the past 17 years. She served for five years in India and three in Malta.
