There was a large number of visitors in attendance at the Palmerston North Rotary Club's luncheon held yesterday, it being "sons' and daughters' " day. The speaker was Mr E. Anseombe, the well-known "Wellington architects and his talk was on his latest trip to America. He showed a series of coloured moving films taken while away. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr L. H. Collinson. Mr Richard Paterson, a salesman, was found dead at the wheel of his car parked in Wakefield Street, Wellington. yesterday.
