IMPRESSMENT OF .303 RIFLES
The aticmion of readers is drawn to the public notice appearing in the advertising columns regarding rifles. It M understood that registered ownem of .303 rifles will receive individual notices early next week, but the Prime Minister in a recent statement made it quite clear that failure to receive a notice does not exonerate a person from the necessity for handing in his rifle. It. ha* also been clearly indicated that all .303 rifles mud bo handed in whether they are registered or unregistered, whether they are serviceable or unserviceable, and whether (hey arc owned by the holder or merely held on behalf of sonic other person.
