Miss P. Bowden has returned from a visit to Silverliope, Huntervilie, where she was the guest of Mr and Mrs 11. D. Amer. As a result of the work of the Foxton Women’s Emergency Corps and the efforts of other local bodies, another big parcel of goods has been sent to the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council. Tb;s contained 16 sets, comprising scarves, balaclavas and hussifs. In a Rugby football match played at Weraroa. the Eoxton-Moutoa senior team beat Air Force B by 5 points to 3.
