ATHLETIC CLUB DANCE

A dance was held in the Cosmopolitan Hall, last evening, by the Palmerston North Amateur. Athletic and Cycling Club. Excellent arrangements had been made by the committee and the ladies were in charge of the supper. Mr G. Watchorn (patron) presented the trophies (the winners of which ■were published last evening). Peeling reference was made to Mr D. Gough, a member and former secretary, reported missing in an air action over Germany, also to Mr G. Esau, official piper and a-g active member, who is returning to New Zealand from Egypt, owing to illness. Mr Esau is now making good progress.
