LONE AND POST GUIDES

Lone and Post Guiders of this district gathered recently for an informal meeting with the New Zealand Commissioner for Lone Guides (Airs R. S. Afcl lines, of AYellington) ._ who who was visiting Palmerston North. Arranged by Aliss C. Field. Captain of the 4th Auckland Lone Guides, the gathering was held at the residence of Airs W. F. Field, of Rongopai Street, and the time was spei.it in discussing various aspects of Lone and Post Guide work. Two amusing competitions added to the enjoyment, and at the conclusion supper was served by Airs Field. Others present were: Aliss AI. Cranstone (Lone Ranger lieutenant), Aliss AI. Poole (Post Brownie captain). Aliss K. Cutler (Lone Ranger captain), Aliss R. Davis (Lone Guide captain), Aliss .T. Hankins (Post Guide captain), also All's J. G. Riddle and Miss S. Slater.
