WEATHER IN APRIL

RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE. _ Reporting on iiie weather experienced in Redding during the piast month, Mr F. Mason, Sandon Road, states that rain fell on 10 days for a total measurement of 2.09 in. The heaviest daily fall was recorded on April 13 (.Sin)- The average fall for April is 2.6 Sin. The rainfall for tho first four months of 1941 totals 12.63 in as compared with 14.21 in last year. There were two frosts during last month, and the wind reached gale force on April 3 and 4.
