Speaking' at tho annual meeting of North Taranaki bobby calf pool, Mr (r\ Foreman said that it was impossible to give any definite details regarding the bobby calf industry for the coming season, but tho Minister of Marketing (lion. J. G. Barclay) had given an assurance that collections would continue because the veils were required to moet the increasing cheese production. Tho Minister was at present attending meetings of pool delegates throughout New Zealand to discuss tho purchase of bobhy calves, Mr Foreman said, and notification had boon received that a conference of representatives of bobby calf pools, including Taranaki, with the Minister of Marketing, would be held at Palmerston North on Friday. Tho wholo matter was in the hands of the Government.
