HOKOWHITU BOWLING CLUB

A social evening was held at the Hokowhitu Bowling Club's pavilion to mark the conclusion of the season. The trophies won during the season wore presented by Mrs A. E., Gardner (wife of the president) as follow: Men’s section, Colts’ cup, A. rainier; runner-up, J. Knowles; open singles, M. Bailey; runner-up, G. Hancock; handicap singles, G. Hancock; runner-up, L. Voitre; championship pairs, H. Cillarn and A. T. Russell; runners-up, M. Bailey and J. Knowles; club pairs, L. Maskery and E. Voitre; runners-up, C. Dahl and A. Palmer; championship rinks, J. Knowles, A. Gardner, S. Richardson and M. Bailey; runners-up, Lincoln, E. Wycherley, _ L.Hcatley, C. Cater. Women's _ section: Single* championship (Fleck Shield), Mrs A. E. Stephens; Colts’ Cup, Mrs r I. Welch; Cup for mixed pairs, Mr and Mrs W. J. Body; runners-up, Mr and Mrs G. Spinlev; unattached pairs, Mies L. W’imsett and K. de' Ridder. The president (Mr Gardner) complimented the winners. Competition winners during the evening were Mrs Aiken, Atr Richardson and Mrs Bailey, Miss G. Whitehead, Mrs Eaglesome, Mrs Shelley and Mr Lovett, Mrs Shelley’s team, Miami Mrs Shelley and Mrs W 7 elch, and Miss M. Body. Mr F. Lovett was M.G.
